All of our stuff has been in boxes...for about a year and a half. Now that we have it all in one house, I'm finding some fun things I'd been missing...like my curling iron. Yesterday I got to curl my little girl's hair! It was so fun and it turned out so cute. This was the very first time I've ever curled one of my girl's hair. I'm going to have to do it more often...and get into some more of these boxes I haven't looked in for a very long time to find the rest of my treasures.

Our big move
So I was a little exhausted when we started our trip and didn't get around to taking pictures until our second day on the road.We spent the night in Onterio. Here is a picture of the Girls with grandpa in the motel room. We walked in and Betty looked around and there was a fridge to keep our food cold and a microwave to warm it up...she exclaimed that our room was "Magical!" lol
We saw a lot of windmills on our journey. This was the best picture we got of them. They are really big! We saw one of the blades being transported...it took up a WHOLE semi-truck!
There goes all our stuff! Well, almost all our stuff...we didn't quite get everything in the truck.
After several intense days of packing, and two days on the road, you get a little loopy.
Katie decided we were all too tired to drive...she thought she may be able to help with a little pick-me-up.
That sign really does say "Welcome to Utah"....Didn't really show up, but there it is.
And our truck...Chris did the last of the loading. By the end we were having to make some tough choices about what would go and what would stay...we got all the most important stuff...some things, like my wedding dress and our snowboards will have to come on another trip.
And here is the view from our appartment. We'll loose most of it when the trees have leaves, but we will still be able to peek at the mountains.
So, now we are getting settled in...most stuff is still in boxes which are still in piles everywhere, but we are slowly getting though it as tghe baby gives us two hads to get it done. Chris will start work next week after he gets his Utah certification. Aimee started school this week and has a great teacher and is enjoying meeting new people.
I'll have more pictures as we get settled in. We miss Oregon, but have felt a very warm welcome from everyone here.

Back to Blogging!
A new year and a fresh start...and a whole lot of blogging to do. I'll start with Christmas pictures. We had a very nice Christmas. We spent one day with G&G H for a holiday meal and presents. Then we did Dinner at our house with everyone on Christmas Eve. Sariah and Amber helped me put the table together and made the place cards with me. It was really fun.
This was our totally rockin' tree! It was so fun.
Aunt Miriam made these hats for the girls. Aren't they wonderful? Don't know what is up with the girl's faces in these pics...but the hats are REALLY cute. And just because Katie is so cute and this was her first Christmas...here she is.
Later today, if I can get my hands free at all, I've got moving pictures.
